Dickson Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Christie Bowen to its Board of Directors. She presently serves as the high school Assistant Principal for Christ Presbyterian Academy. Education has been Ms. Bowen's passion for many years - she taught high school in the Chattanooga public school system before moving to Williamson County. In her 20 years at Christ Presbyterian Academy, Mrs. Bowen has held many positions, giving her a wealth of knowledge and experience relating to Christian education. At CPA, she taught kindergarten, was the Director of Learning Services, served as the high school Academic Coordinator, and is currently the high school Assistant Principal. During this school year, she has served as the chairman of the accreditation committee concerning Values, Character, and Spiritual Formation. "We are thrilled to have someone of Mrs. Bowen's caliber and character on our board", said David Faulks, Dickson Academy Board President. "She will serve as a tremendous asset as Dickson Academy moves into the future and strives to stay true to our mission of providing quality academic instruction integrated with a biblical worldview." Dickson Academy is a college preparatory middle and high school currently enrolling grades 6-9 for the 2011-2012 academic year.
